Family values.....the basis of who we are starts young

So much of who you are is based on how you were brought up and then what decisions you make as an adult in relation to allowing your past to control the future.....that is easier said than done as most people resort to the primal basics under pressure.

I always wonder why a person stops picking their nose when seated in their car at a traffic light when they notice you are watching. Instant meltdown...they don't know you so why should they care? It's that little voice inside their brain that has remained since they were 3 years old 'Johnny! Get that finger out of your nose!!!!' Funny thing is, why are our nostrils the exact size of our index finger?

Now this guy may be taking the finger up the nose just way too far!!!

My emotional and physical meltdowns started quite young in my life and although I am not going to go into detail about them I know I had to make some hard and fast decisions as I got older as to whether they would control the rest of my life.

I believed I wasn't going to let these things affect me long term but deep down they have. I am aware that I hide behind a facade of confidence and maybe to a degree I hide behind my body which is more generous than the good Lord had planned!

I may be a little frightened to see myself as I truly am and hiding like this allows me to protect myself. Still ignorance isn't always bliss......
